Registered Nurse First Assist – Nursing

Schedule

8- or 10-hour shifts, Days with 0630 start time. Alternating Weekends.

Assignment Details

Minimum 2 years of experience required.

Requirements

• Current licensure with the relevant nursing board.
• Current BLS/BCLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Current Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) certification.
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgeon in the Operating Room and Labor and Delivery Suite.
• Render direct patient care as part of the perioperative role.
• Practice under the supervision of the surgeon.
• Utilize acquired knowledge, skills, and judgement to support surgical procedures.
• Participate in organized instruction and supervised practice to maintain competencies.
