Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Surgical Services - Surgical First Assist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical first assist support in cardiovascular procedures as part of the Heart Team.
• Scrub independently and efficiently during surgical procedures.
• Work scheduled shifts from 0630 to 1700, Monday through Friday.
• Carry out rotational call coverage, including one call per week, which may include a Saturday or Sunday.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and procedural success.
• Maintain sterile field and adherence to aseptic techniques throughout operations.

Qualifications

• OR Tech proficiency in cardiovascular surgical procedures required.
• Ability to scrub independently in a variety of surgical settings.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar surgical setting required.
• Available for rotational call coverage, including weekends.
• Professional demeanor and strong communication skills.
• Willingness to follow all applicable facility policies and protocols.
