7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 8-hour days, Monday to Friday.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room First Assist Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care in the operating room and collaborate effectively with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role may require floating to the main location as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgical procedures and provide direct patient care in the operating room.
• Coordinate with surgical staff to ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
• Participate in preoperative and postoperative patient assessments.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of current First Assist Operating Room experience.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Active CNOR certification required.
• Experience with Meditech Expanse is highly preferred.
• Massachusetts RN license must be up to date.
