Operating Room/Surgical First Assist - Scrub Technologist - First Assist

Schedule: 7:00AM - 3:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $59 - $63/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a OR for a temporary assignment in Salida, Colorado. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a OR:

• Perform scrub technologist duties with a focus on first assist experience
• Demonstrate and apply Orthopedic surgery experience in clinical practice
• Maintain current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential
• Hold CSFA or another nationally recognized surgical assisting certification (preferred or required based on position)
• Maintain current Colorado Surgical Assistant registration, when applicable
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Provide a minimum of 2 years of surgical first-assisting experience
• Assist surgeons during operative procedures in a first assistant capacity
• Adhere to all surgical protocols, policies, and procedures
• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure safe and effective patient care
