Nurse Practitioner (General Surgery) Needed in Central Connecticut | Nights & Surgical First Assist

Healthcare United is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner for a full-time role focused on General Surgery in the Wallingford Area, Connecticut.

Provide overnight surgical care with a seasoned APP team and broad operative and inpatient exposure.

What You Can Expect

• Provide Surgical First Assisting in the OR and provide rounds, bedside procedures, admissions, discharges, and consultations.
  
• Cover General, Robotic, Bariatric, and Thoracic Surgery with some Orthopedic and Vascular coverage.
  
• Night differentials and flexible scheduling options are available.
  

Requirements

• AGACNP-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
  
• RNFA certification required for Nurse Practitioners.
  
• Unrestricted Connecticut license or eligibility.
  
• At least one year in Surgery or a related setting required; two years in Surgery preferred.
  
• Current CV required.
