Job Description
Under general supervision, supervises the daily operations of Harbor City Unlimited rehabilitation services program for the serious persistent mentally ill. Coordinates, develops and monitors the daily activities of counselors in the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program to ensure efficiency, timeliness and effectiveness of activities, operations and resources.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in a mental health related field is required. Licensed as a mental health professional; a rehabilitation counselor certified by the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification or certified psychiatric rehabilitation practitioner certified by the U.S. Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association. CPR certification is required. Current, valid, Maryland driver’s license is required.
Five years counseling experience preferably performing rehabilitation counseling, psycho-social program work is required. In addition, two years experience in a lead role, overseeing the work activities of counseling staff is required.
