Job Description
General Summary
The eLearning Developer is accountable developing training for clinical, financial and service quality team members. This position will support content creation for multiple learning modalities (instructor-led, virtual, online interactive, etc.), but will be primarily focused on online interactive content creation.
Principal Responsibilities and Tasks

Develops and designs learning material, gathering information and course elements from team members, internal departments, SMEs (subject matter experts), and others.
Reviews educational content and incorporates current technology in developing specific eLearning curricula.
Supports the deployment of learning programs including uploading and updating courseware and curricula, training assignments, learner notification text and rules in the Learning Management System (LMS).
Recommend learning delivery strategies that yield a rich, meaningful, and dynamic end-user experience.
Utilizes LMS reporting capabilities and develops custom reports to assist with planning and managing UMMS training and development initiatives.
Leads small to medium sized projects related to e-learning implementations, developing timelines, tracking progress, and identifying and assessing risk factors.
Ensures eLearning content from vendors is compatible with the LMS.
Runs demonstrations of the LMS system and provides training to individuals and users groups.
Lends expertise in the technical aspects of eLearning to internal team members and departments, as requested.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in training, adult education, and/or multimedia training materials development.
Two (2) years of eLearning development experience preferred.
Experience with Content Creation Software (i.e. Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate, etc.) and AV editing software required.
Knowledge of healthcare and EHR workflows preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
