Job Description
We are seeking an organized and efficient Distribution Clerk to join our team in Bel Air, United States. As a Distribution Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records, processing shipments, and ensuring smooth distribution operations.
Manage and update inventory records using computerized systems
Process incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Perform data entry tasks and maintain detailed records of all distribution activities
Coordinate with warehouse staff to organize and track inventory
Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and reconciliations
Prepare and distribute various reports related to inventory and shipments
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to orders and deliveries
Collaborate with team members to improve distribution processes and efficiency
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in the distribution area
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of experience in a similar role or warehouse environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
Experience with inventory management systems and practices
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Forklift certification preferred
Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
