Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Ambulatory Clinical Educator to join our team in Baltimore, United States. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality educational programs for healthcare professionals, ensuring the continuous improvement of clinical skills and patient care.

Design, implement, and evaluate clinical education programs tailored to various healthcare disciplines
Conduct needs assessments to identify learning gaps and develop targeted training initiatives
Facilitate classroom, bedside, and simulation-based learning experiences
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure educational content aligns with current best practices and organizational goals
Mentor and support clinical staff in their professional development
Assess learner competencies and provide constructive feedback
Develop and maintain educational materials, including e-learning modules and training manuals
Stay current with emerging trends in healthcare education and clinical practice
Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to clinical education
Maintain accurate records of educational activities and participant progress

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related healthcare field (Master's preferred)
Current nursing license or relevant clinical certification
Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience preferably in an ambulatory setting
Previous experience in education or training roles
Strong communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in educational technology and learning management systems
Curriculum development expertise
Clinical assessment skills
In-depth knowledge of current clinical practices and procedures
Understanding of adult learning principles and methodologies
Teaching certification or adult education credentials (preferred)
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
