What You’ll Do

  • Provide surgical first assist services, including exposure, hemostasis, and suturing, during operative procedures.
  • Collaborate with surgeons and the perioperative team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of surgical procedures.
  • Meet and maintain requirements for allied health privileges through medical staff credentialing.

What You’ll Need

  • Licensure: Active Idaho RN license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • Education: Documentation of completion of an RNFA course.
  • Experience: Minimum three years of perioperative RN experience required.
  • Certification: CNOR certification required.
  • Credentialing: Must meet requirements to obtain allied health privileges through medical staff credentialing.
